Traditional Makeup Application:
Traditional makeup is applied using brushes, sponges and applicators. It tends to be quicker than airbrush application and can also be built up from light to full coverage, depending on your preference. Traditional foundation is often in the form of liquid or cream consistency and can have an oil, water or wax base depending on the formulation. Katie's favourite High Definition foundations are by Cinema Secrets, Esteé Lauder, and Makeup Atelier Paris.
Airbrush Application:
Airbrush makeup application is a light mist that is applied through an air compressor and airbrush gun. The coverage is lighter than traditional brush application, however it can be layered and built up to medium coverage. It's a great option for people who don't like the feel of wearing a lot of makeup as it's weightless when worn. It does require a longer application time to allow for colour blending and layering. It looks lovely and natural in photographs and does have good staying power throughout the day. Airbrushing is not recommended for dry skin however as the air that passes through the gun creates more dryness and saps moisture out of the skin. Note: Eye and lip products are applied with brushes only. Katie chooses to use Elementwo Airbrush products.
Hairstyling:
Katie has trained under industry professionals including Lizzie Liros, Martha Mok and Paint Makeup school. Using a range of high quality styling products and tools from EVO Hair, L'Oreal Professional, GHD, and Muk hair tools, Katie can create looks using a range of braiding, curling and upstyling techniques to suit your requirements.

Wedding bookings:
For bridal parties, Katie will happily travel to your destination. There may be a travel fee depending on the distance so please include your location when you enquire so we can give you an accurate quote. There is a minimal call out of 4 services for all bookings.

Formal/Special events:
Katie is happy to have individual clients come to her home in Happy Valley, South Australia, or alternatively, she can travel to you if there are two or more clients requiring 4 or more services in total.
Editorial/commercial:
Katie is available for commercial, advertising, and editorial/fashion hair and makeup services at your desired location. Providing professional and highly skilled services, she will be an asset to your set/production. These services are booked as half or full days and prices will be quoted upon enquiring.
